Pharmacoeconomic Studies of the Feasibility of Using Certain Groups of Drugs in Diseases of the Chest Organs
Synopsis
The scientific and methodological recommendations present modern approaches to conducting ABC/VED analysis as a tool for pharmacoeconomic assessment of the feasibility of using drugs for diseases of the chest organs. The publication contains methodological principles of analysis, algorithms for classifying drugs by economic significance and clinical priority, as well as results of studies of individual pharmacotherapeutic groups used for pneumonia, tuberculosis, broncho-obstructive conditions, pulmonary hypertension, and concomitant pathologies. Special attention is paid to electrolytes, vasodilators, analgesics, hepatotropic agents and vitamins as part of complex pharmacotherapy for diseases of the chest organs. A multidisciplinary approach to the study of risks and errors in the system of legal relations "doctor-patient-pharmacist-lawyer" is considered, considering clinical and pharmacological, legal, forensic and pharmaceutical aspects in pulmonology. Practical recommendations are provided for the implementation of ABC/VED analysis in the activities of health care institutions to optimize medical and pharmaceutical care, increase the efficiency of the use of financial resources and minimize risks.
